Secret Pals:
If you are interested in getting to know another member of the guild better, then Secret Pals is for you! Each person completes an application, giving personal information about themselves, such as their favorite fabrics, threads, books, interests, etc., so that their Secret Pal has a starting point to learn about them. Each month, it is the obligation of each participant to purchase something for their Secret Pal that is of the Secret Pal's interest. This new, unbroken item is expected to be around $10 in value. For instance, this can be fat quarters in fabrics of the Secret Pal's unique fabric preferences, gift certificates to their favorite quilting shop, or something else that is on their application.
By agreeing to be a Secret Pal, you not only receive interesting and
unique gifts each month, but you are obligated to provide a gift to
YOUR Secret Pal each month. If you are unable to attend the monthly
meetings, it is your obligation to give your Secret Pal gift to
another member to bring to the meetings so that your Secret Pal does
not feel slighted. Because this is a voluntary program, if you are
unable to meet your obligation, please contact the facilitator of
the program to advise them so that they can re-assign Secret Pals so
everyone who participates receives a gift each month. Enjoy getting
